During your apprenticeship at METAS as an information technologist, Federal Diplom’a of Vocational Education and Training (VET), specialising in platform development at METAS, you contribute to ensuring that our employees have the right computers, programs and devices and that they function smoothly.

Your duties

• You help plan, set up and maintain IT systems.
• You develop new solutions and improve existing ones.
• You install and maintain computers, servers, networks and memory.
• You advise and support employees as a member of the Service Desk team.
• You analyse and rectify faults

Your profile

• Secondary school qualification with good grades in mathematics and a good command of English
• You are interested in IT and enjoy learning
• Logical thinking, patience and perseverance
• Team player, good social skills and a sense of responsibility
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and a high ability to concentrate
• Systematic way of working
