The Field Chemical tests and consultancy offers two types of organoleptic tests:
- Processes for ethanol analysis (according to pharmacopoeia)
- Processes for drinks and tobacco (according to self-developed and validated methods)
“Ethanol analysis” services
The services in the Field “Ethanol analysis” belong to the accredited scope of the STS 0119 test laboratory and are carried out in accordance with pharmacopoeias:
- Visual inspection of the colour of a solution
- Determination of the clarity and particle count of a solution
- Determination of the odour intensity of prepared ethanol-water solutions
“Drinks and tobacco” services
- Determination of taste intensity and types of drinks and tobacco (comparison with references)
- Determination of the characteristic flavour of different foods

Measuring methods and technologies
Our analysis methods in the ethanol analysis range are based on (cross)-validated and tested methods. The measurement methods comply with the applicable laws, standards and pharmacopoeias.
