Universal Form Measuring Machine – Rondcom 65B

The Rondcom 65B is a high-precision form measuring machine manufactured by Accretech and is used at METAS for the calibration and testing of cylindrical gauges, ball sylus and other precision components.

The combination of a high-precision spindle, a high-resolution probing system and powerful evaluation software enables the reliable determination of various form characteristics on a single measurement platform.

The measuring machine enables roundness measurements on workpieces with diameters of up to 280 mm, as well as straightness and form measurements on components up to 400 mm in length or height. Depending on the measurement task, measurement uncertainties of down to 0.08 µm for roundness measurements and 0.10 µm for straightness measurements can be achieved, enabling calibrations at the highest level of metrological accuracy.
